Francois et Mimi French Coffee Press Review

"A what? How do I use that?"

Those were my first questions to Boxy when she said I was getting a French press to review (she is getting her own and reviewing later this month). She humored me, though, and explained what a French press is, as well as why it's actually her favorite method of brewing coffee. Then I was excited because I LOVE coffee!

My Francois et Mimi French Press arrived on my doorstep and I was still nervous, yet now also excited to try it out.

Francois et Mimi Egyptian Cotton Sheets Review

I admit I have been slow about posting this review, but I wanted to get the sheets from Francois et Mimi on the bed and have them on for a bit before reviewing. I mean, there's only so much you can say about sheets, right? I was excited to get these sheets for review, but then I wasn't sure what to say about them.

I received my sheets in steel gray and I love the color. It's dark enough without being too dark, and it's a relatively neutral color so it works in any of the rooms. Of course, these are king sheets and we don't have a king bed, but in some ways, that was even better.

One problem I always seem to have with sheets is that the fitted sheet doesn't stay on through the night. I suppose I move around a lot, but it's always pulled loose in the morning. Because these are too big, we worried that they would fall off even easier, but instead, they stay on. They're already deeper so that makes them more secure and the extra space (our bed is queen) gives the sheets room to move without pulling the fitted off the bed.

Francois et Mimi Vintage-Style 20-Ounce Soup Mugs Review

With the weather we have been having around here lately, there is nothing more fitting than a big hot bowl of soup! We have been making more soup than we use to with days full of snow and subzero temperatures. Therefore, I was really excited to be asked to review Francois et Mimi Vintage-Style Soup Mugs, the kids were also very excited to use these.

Francois et Mimi Stacking Mug Set with Rack

I received the Francois et Mimi stacking mug set with rack for review in the mail the other day. In our house, we LOVE coffee, hot chocolate, and even tea on occasion. Having more mugs in the house, therefore, is never a bad thing, and one that comes with its own rack for holding them is awesome.

This set comes with four mugs and a metal wire rack to store them. Each mug is 12 oz., which is bigger than the mugs we have that came with our dishes. I really like the fact that they are larger since it seems like we never have enough coffee in one of the regular mugs.

One of the other things I really liked about these mugs were the colors. They are each uniquely painted, with a different color for the mug, the handle, and even the bottom of the mug.  The colors are not too bright, and they add a little excitement to your kitchen counter.
