Green Kid Crafts Review: Slime Monsters Kit

Last month, Green Kid Crafts was offering a deal on the Slime Monsters kit. I decided to check this out for my three-year-old, and I am very glad I did! The really nice thing about Green Kid Crafts is that you can choose monthly subscription boxes, discovery boxes, creativity boxes, and even STEM science kits, and they are all eco-friendly.

Product Review: Reusable K-Cup from Melitta

Since I'm the only person in the house to drink coffee and I rarely drink more than a cup or a two a time, a regular coffee pot is somewhat useless to me. So I've had my Keurig for a long time and I do really enjoy its convenience. On the other hand, I'm bothered by the waste, not to mention that I'm limited to drinking coffee available in K-cups. I'm actually quite the coffee expert, having worked in cafes and in roasting for some time, and I have a grinder for whole beans but no place to use the ground coffee. 

Kloverbox Review: February 2015

Kloverbox is a subscription box of handcrafted, ecofriendly, ethical, and cruelty-free products. These are generally beauty or personal care items. It's a slightly more expensive subscription box, but the products are full-sized and top quality.

Eco Emi Variety Box: February 2015

Surprise - my Eco Emi Variety Box is awesome! ;) (Of course it is, because it always is!) I recently decided to stick to the Variety Box over the Beauty Box, at least until winter and the heating costs pass, because I think I prefer it. Sure the samples are smaller, but it's more loaded and I find myself exposed to a greater variety of brands. I'm happy to buy things I like and I get so many great products from Eco Emi.

Every month, the items come wrapped in tissue paper and sealed. Inside were rose petals and an info card, and the beauty products were wrapped in their own bag. I love the detail and effort put into this box. Again, I really can't stress how amazing everything Eco Emi does is.

Honest Company Essentials Bundle Review

I hadn't realized prior to ordering that Jessica Alba (yes, that Jessica Alba) is one of the founders of Honest Co. It wouldn't have affected my ordering or anything, but I do like seeing people who have pull in the world doing something to give back and improve it.

Honest Co. is mostly a family company - with a focus on leaving the world better for your children. However, in addition to baby products and diapers, they also have a cleaning products line, a line of beauty products, and vitamins and wellness products.

Honest has three essential packages, which are basically starter packs to let you decide if you want to subscribe long-term. I ordered the Essentials Bundle, which included beauty and cleaning supplies. I've also now decided to subscribe monthly, because you get five full sized items (from their beauty and cleaning lines) for $35.95. You also can change which items you get each month and they make almost everything!

Eco Emi Bonus Box Review

I really like almost everything about Eco Emi. Their products are animal friendly, healthy, and ethical. Not to mention they're quick to ship and responsive via email. And of course the boxes are usually a good match for me. So I decided to order a Bonus Box to see what I would get.

There were too many things to take a picture of them all. They were mainly in two groups - food and beauty/personal care products.
