I had signed up for Urthbox when they were offering a deal, so I got the most for the lowest price, but I can't even believe how packed this month's box was! I really don't even know where to start.
The good news is that there was only one item we couldn't eat, which is pretty awesome! These were some energy gummies, and even if they didn't have gelatin, I likely wouldn't have eaten them anyway so no worries there.
I'm just going to try to list it all, because there was SO MUCH STUFF!! We got two bags of Banana Brittle, as well as two bags of No Oatmeal Cookie mix, from Urban Remedy. I have had a gift card here for a while but I haven't tried any of their foods yet, so I am very excited about this.
I was really happy to see chocolate-covered espresso beans, as these are something I always enjoy. There was a fruit snack pouch included, too, and it didn't have anything too weird in it so I'm really happy to try it (I always find a random vegetable that doesn't seem to fit the rest of the fruits).
My husband and I are always excited about snack mixes, because he takes them to work and I just like them! ;) There was also a bag of pumpkin seeds, which is nice.
I did already try the maple water, which tastes different and I haven't decided how I feel about it. It's sweeter than water, but not in a bad way and certainly only a hint. I wonder if I also convinced myself it should taste one way before trying it, though, so the jury is still out on this.
Surprisingly, we haven't tried the chocolate cookie yet. It's a "Chocolate Moose Dragon" cookie and as my husband pointed out, chocolate, cookie, and dragon in the same sentence = awesome!!
Also in the box was a bag of Cheddar Clouds, which I enjoyed, and two bags of popcorn, a treat that is never going to be a bad thing in a subscription box!! There was also a bag of Snapea Crisps, which is probably the only item I am a little afraid of trying. I love peas, but peas as a snack? I don't know. I may not have made that much of a leap to healthy eating yet!!
I'm really looking forward to the warmer weather, because I love ice cream treats and this fruit ice is so exciting! I can't wait to sit outside on the porch and enjoy one of these. We don't have to wait to try the Curry Cashew Snakarola, though, and we didn't! Spicy cashews? Sign us up!! (And since our Nature Box standby Jalapeno Cashews were out of stock, this came at a good time.)
The last two items were basically new versions of our typical snack favorites - a chocolate bar and a bag of chips. The chips are Cheddar Horseradish, so I am leaving those to my husband since I think horseradish is out of my adventure zone. Overall, though, this month's Urthbox was awesome and even better than last month, but just as fall! They really do load you up!
The snap pea crisps don't make you thinking of eating peas. They're salted, baked snap peas and I really enjoy them. I discovered them over a year ago & eat them all the time.
