Crafty Travels to Space with Space Scouts

Roxy and Jett have landed in our home! This time of year, the kids are always so busy with sports and activities, but come summer, they're bored so I love sampling activity packs for them to try. It allows me to see what they enjoy and also start a list of things we can do for the summer. When we were given a chance to review Space Scouts, I was thrilled!

Space Scouts and Animal Trackers Club are offered by the same company, although they target different two age groups. Space Scouts is for children ages 6+, while Animal Trackers is for kids ages 3+. Obviously the older kids can enjoy both, but it's good to have a sense of what to expect.

Little Passports World Coin Collection Review and Giveaway

We are so excited to be featuring this exclusive giveaway for the Little Passports World Coin Collection! At the beginning of February, Little Passports put out a challenge to bloggers, asking us to give readers three reasons we love them. Personally, I simply love the entire concept behind Little Passports and I have had my eye on them for months. We decided to take part in their friendly competition since I actually do love the service (we aren't fans of participating in promotional events for products we are not passionate about, as it feels unethical and dishonest to us). As I truly do enjoy Little Passports (and even more now that I've been able to sample the subscription box they offer as well), this felt easy.

We participated in the blogger challenge and took 1st place! That also means we are now able to provide you with this very special World Coin Collection giveaway.

Before we get into the giveaway, let me just tell you how much we loved this collection in our house. When you purchase the World Coin Collection, you get 20 coins from around the world, as well as a magnifying glass, a pouch to keep your coins in, and a little booklet with activities in it.

Splash Math Grade 2 Review

I was asked to review Splash Math by StudyPad, which is an app for your phone/tablet. This app helps kids in first through fifth grade practice their math skills. I tested out the second and fourth grade levels, as those are the grade levels of my kids.

My second grader loved the app! He asked to play it several times in the matter of just a few days. Of course, he's the one in the family who absolutely loves math. He wanted to try everything and explore the app as much as he could. The really neat thing about it was that I was able to go in as a parent as well to review the math problems and test my own knowledge. What I noticed was that everything listed in his grade level was linked to what he's been doing at school. This is a big plus in my book. It works to enrich what they are learning at school in a fun way.
